A low profile direct mount Q-SERT adapter for your Scout and Scout Pro pattern weapon lights.
Designed and made in the US, PA12 Nylon Polymer / A20X or CP1 Aluminum
SLIM is intended for use without a suppressor (i.e. Cherry Bomb, Bottle Rocket, etc) for a slimmer profile, or suppressors 1.5” or less in diameter.
TALL is intended for use with suppressors up to 1.75” in diameter, this allows adequate distance between the light head and suppressor when mounted far forward on the hand guard.
PRO is intended for Surefire Scout Light Pro / Turbo bodied lights and are able to swivel and be locked in place depending on your preference.
MLOK is intended to convert a single Q-SERT slot into a single MLOK for various accessories, including Kinetic Development Group’s Quick Disconnect Mounts.
GEN1 vs GEN2 — the only real difference between the two options is the type of included hardware, button head vs flat head, all other features and function remain the same. Polymer SCOUT MOUNT and SWITCH DOCKs will continue the use of button head, but going forward aluminum SCOUT MOUNTs will use flat head hardware sourced directly from Q. The only other notable change is the standard SCOUT MOUNT, instead of the Slim and Tall models, we split the difference and only one height option will be offered.
Each kit includes
1 pair of 10-32 T25 screws (SLIM, PRO and MLOK) or 10-32 x 1/2 T25 (TALL) – suggested max torque value for installation is 15 in-lbs (Nylon) or 50 in-lbs (Aluminum).
1 pair of 8-32 screws (SLIM and TALL) for Scout style light bodies; Cloud Defensive REIN, Surefire, Modlite, Echo Arms, Arisaka Defense and more – suggested max torque value for installation is 15 in-lbs.
**For Surefire Scout Pro and Turbo style light bodies, use the original Z93 Scout Light Pro Shoulder Screw that came with your light to attach the body to the adapter, Surefire’s suggested torque is 5 in-lbs.
**Compatibility may vary depending on the specific light head/light body combination used, most should work but cannot be guaranteed with the wide variety of third party options. 18650 bodies are the better choice for compatibility, some 18350 light body/light head combinations may have interference between the light head and the Scout Mount. This will depend on the height of the mounting lugs of the light body and/or the diameter of the light head.
**SLIM and TALL models require removal of the hand guard for installation.
**Threadlocker is recommended for installation, such as Vibra-Tite VC-3 Threadmate.
